After sitting in a room and playing games beside each other for hours straight, we wanted to go pro. We built a growing love for Apex Legends and strived for the competitive nature of the game. Right there and then, we wanted to become the best team in South Africa! Little did we know that we were not really good at all, and that old-school console gaming would not get us far in the scene, but regardless of that, we created NEO: New Elite Order. We grew to love the idea of our team while consistently getting wrecked by teams that were actually good. One thing we always did, was be terrible in style! We each perused our own careers while still remaining passionate about the game. After years of mediocre results (and still playing on machines from the early 2000’s) we noticed that by marrying our passion for competitiveness and our developed skills in our careers, we could build an organization that allows players and teams to perform like never before. We aim to change the gaming landscape in South Africa and redefine what organizations can do for their players and staff, by building NEO around the love for sporting. We believe in the intersection between passion, hard work, and having fun. While we look to help young gamers achieve their dreams, as we once had.
